A strong, united council with a clear vision and a willingness to contribute positively is a feature of a successful school. The hallmarks of an effective council is its leadership, mutual sharing of information, knowledge and ideas, focus and establishment of an equilibrium on the needs of students’ body and school management.
The school believes in holistic development of children and gives them a stepping into competitive working scenarios ,for this a team of council members is elected every year. A well set election procedure is in place to sift the best and the most efficient amongst all the learners. A panel of evaluators is constituted to minutely scrutinize and judge each candidate for the honorary posts. Academic performance, execution of co-scholastic domains, inter personal relations and zeal to perform and constitute the chief areas which are looked into.
The council thus elected, shoulders the task of establishing an acceptance and love for school’s vision and direction in student community, managing all matters of students well being, discipline and academic progress, preparation for various events in school ,organizing counselling sessions and lending emotional support to juniors while mentoring them. The council is a bridge between the school and student body and lays down a firm foundation for juniors to follow suit.
